When is Threads going to allow account portability so folks can move their accounts if they want to? We don't know. A Meta spokesperson couldn't confirm that the topic was on the Threads roadmap, but said it was "top of mind." Here's @Sarahp's story.

"Top of mind" from the standpoint of "how do we keep people from leaving and screw up our advertising plans".
Aevisia Lol we know they would never do this. Why would they? What they want is the reach of the Fediverse while keeping people confined to their own walled garden. Things can go in, sure, but nothing goes out, because that wouldn't be good for business. And that is what #Meta is; a business.
