Hey GusI’ve been working on a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/blog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#blog</a> using <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/jekyll" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#jekyll</a> and it’s been really pleasant so far. I’ve really had no practical experience with any <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/web" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#web</a> stuff at all, it’s always been infra and operating <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/backend" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#backend</a> systems. I decided to challenge myself to just use <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/vim" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#vim</a> for this and I have to say now that I’m working through the theme/design portion I remember why I swap to vscode. When there’s several files/dirs scattered around I could never configure vim in a way that worked for me. Feels silly, but it’s true.
