debbiev62<p>After it stopped raining today, I went for a walk through Walton Common and saw this Rook (Corvus frugilegus). They didn't look wet at all, so they must have been sheltering somewhere or have a secret umbrella..? Rooks are very sociable and often nest together in rookeries at the top of trees.</p><p>Taken with a Lumix FZ200</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/rook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rook</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/corvid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>corvid</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/ukwildlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ukwildlife</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/birds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birds</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/birdsofmastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdsofmastodon</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/birdphotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdphotography</span></a></p>
