Venya (he/him/dude) 🇺🇦Turning in my session paperwork tonight upcoming <a href="https://musicians.today/tags/studio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#studio</a> tracking day. I'm picking microphones and assigning channels and building the <a href="https://musicians.today/tags/ProTools" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ProTools</a> session. We have to show planning docs so they know we know what we're doing (ha lolsob) and won't damage their gear. So I get to diagram out where everyone will be placed and where the mics will plug in and what outboard gear I'll use.Kinda fun, but overwhelming options. Venya (he/him/dude) 🇺🇦I'm not sure why I went with greyscale on this but I will experiment.One of the things that John McBride (who owns/runs <a href="https://musicians.today/tags/BlackbirdStudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BlackbirdStudio</a> in Nashville) likes to say is "You either rock or you suck." It's on their t-shirts.I... don't actually much care for this. My own philosophy is more, "A little better every day." But this is my take on the idea.
