Col. of Remote & Offshore MedLast week, we ran the Austere Emergency Care course in Poland. In a final scenario, we saw one of the medics using a syringe during his eFAST <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/pocus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#pocus</a> exam. He had filled the syringe & was using it to dispense the ultrasound gel.We love learning something from students! It is not easy to get gel out of the squeeze bottles. This technique reduces the need for gel, the amount of gel on the casualty, & time and effort.Be a better medic.
