Restless Lip SyndromeI had 4 days of cold symptoms before losing my sense of taste/smell. I tested negative after 2 days of symptoms but re-tested once I noticed that nothing tasted normal -- positive on day 4.There isn't anything pleasant about having a sore throat or sniffles. Not having my sense of smell or taste is absolutely miserable though. I sniff the flowers on my morning dog walk. I savor each bite of food when I eat. I cannot live my life fully without these senses.
