When Patrick Troughton arrived in the Tardis, some viewers decried that the show was dead. Decades later, he is considered one of the best Doctors ever. We’re experiencing the same stuff today. A large group of people don’t like the show anymore and cannot fathom that anyone else is still enjoying it. The biggest difference now is that there is an entire industry of reactionaries who rely on that warped POV to make a living. They fan the flames of dissent to get more views. It’s overwhelmingly stupid. If you don’t like the show, don’t watch it. A rare cosmic phenomenon called an #Einstein ring.

There are two galaxies, separated by a large distance. The foreground galaxy is at the center, while the background galaxy appears to be wrapped around the closer galaxy, forming a ring. 

The light from the more distant object is bent about a massive intermediate object because #spacetime, the fabric of the #Universe itself, is bent by mass, and therefore light travelling through #space and #time is bent as well.
