This year marks the centenary of the birth of #RobertRauschenberg, a key figure in understanding the developments of twentieth-century art up to the present day.
I want to celebrate it by posting a work of mine from 2022 entitled "Bob's lost (in) space", a big poster in which I reworked the famous silkscreen painting "Retroactive I" from 1963.

The image shows a rectangular drawing on paper. You can see fragments of different images including fragments of a famous photo of JFK, a missile taking off from a launching station, the face of a bearded man, a part of Duchamp's "Nude Descending a Staircase". These images are inserted into a series of chaotic patterns that replicate computer glitches. The images are drawn with markers of different thickness through a dense network of chaotic machines that intertwine with each other. A flash of fluorescent blue-magenta color cuts the painting in a zigzag from top to bottom
