I mean I could #print that same #photo in #color if I wanted so why am I obsessing with doing it the really hard way? Wetting #papers, #drying them, #exposing using a #projector, etc and now mixing #gelatine and sensitizing chemicals.
I can only say that I feel like there's more room for improvement in these #photography processes than in simply getting a higher #resolution #printer. And I'm just a beginner #hobbyist here with very little to no experience. What I've seen so far is like #magic.
It's #1080p and I'm projecting it on a 10ft wide wall and the thing is just great! Like before this used piece of junk landed at my feet, I had an #epson #projector 1000Lumens. This #dlp beauty is a 4000lumen sort of industrial projector from #panasonic. I already peaked inside and it looks clean like new. I'm #exposing #cynotypes and hopefully #carbon transfers with it. It's a little slow because it's supposed to block out #UV light. But it works! 127 times slower than full #sunlight and all.
