@TechDesk @BleepingComputer It's never not funny (and sad) when a giant company gets a fine that the CEO could probably pay on his own and still be rich, maybe not even missing the money.

Oh noes! How are they ever going to pay that with $80 billion in yearly revenue??? Someone think about the shareholders, for fucks sake! (That is 0.03875%, btw.)

Might as well charge them 32 cents, that fine isn’t even a poke much less a slap.

Reminder: The government levies fines according to law. They don’t get to make shit up according to how heinous you feel the offense is.

The obvious solution is revenue based fines, but what legislator is voting for that?
