So far it appears the Israeli attack on Iran did not include an attack on nuclear facilities. CNN is reporting that Iranian state run media is currently playing it down and saying there have been "no disruptions". Meanwhile, people on X like Matt Wallace with 1.7M followers are posting that the attack was massive and showing fake images that include mushroom clouds.
@mike I guess the only way Twitter can get new users is by having weirdos like the guy in the screen grab say stupid s**t and for people to create new accounts just to tell him he is saying stupid s**t.
@mike The usefulness of Twitter has a source of information during major events has died.
Disinformation always was a thing. But it did not dominate the platform the way it does today.
@mike @Compassionatecrab Ahahaha so Israel wanted to hit back a bit for ego’s sake but not enough to draw a big reprisal, since the U.S. will not back them up and get dog-wagged into a war.
@mike A conventional attack on a nuclear facility would look like any other conventional attack, and wouldn't result in a fission explosion.
(It might, however, result in fallout.)
