Will you be in or near Austin, TX, on March 9 and 10? We're gathering people passionate about decentralized social media for two days of panels, networking, learning, and fun during the first-ever Fediverse House.
We’ll be sharing official details soon, but for now we wanted to do a special roll call 
for creators, publishers, podcasters, community builders, and developers.

@surf great initiative! Sadly, given the current political climate & chosen state in the US, it seems a part of the #fediverse would potentially face personal danger to attend.
Just wanted to address this issue, although it doesn't concerns me personally. I do think we all ought to speak about this rather big elephant in the room. Perhaps there are other places more suitable?
@BjornW @surf I agree that many Fediverse friends will not be willing to be in the US right now! For those who are able to be there, SXSW is a good opportunity to tell the Fediverse story, *particularly* in the light of the political climate; there are also other events and venues we can look to use in the future, too!

I will be at your Fediverse House at Austin, Texas on March 9th and 10th.
I am (of course) familiar with the Fediverse / Social Web. I am also familiar with Bluesky and Farcaster as well
I can talk in-depth about all 3 of these. Including the technical details
I also have some familiarity with nostr, and lens, too
