March 16 couldn’t arrive soon enough for NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams. That’s the date set for the two “stuck” Boeing Starliner crewmembers who have been living at the International Space Station ever since their 10-day mission turned into a nine-month saga. @Spacecom has more:

Imagine you went on a company paid 10 day trip to Disney world, then you got told “sorry you need to stay at Disney world for 9 months”
I’d be so sad…
@ScienceDesk Is that a record?
@anne_twain @ScienceDesk Not a record of any sort. The current record for longest stay in space is 437 days by Valeri Poliyakov, aboard Mir. Longest stay at the ISS is 374 days, by Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub. It's not even a record for longest unintended stay: that's 371 days, held by Sergey Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin, and Francisco Rubio, stuck on the ISS after their Soyuz capsule developed a coolant leak.
