The Trump administration wants to review the social media accounts of prospective citizens, @theverge reports. The federal agency that oversees legal migration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), proposed this new policy in the Federal Register, describing it as “necessary for a rigorous vetting and screening” of those applying for "immigration-related benefits." USCIS said this policy is necessary to comply with an executive order that President Trump signed on his first day in office, “Protecting the United States from Foreign Terrorists and Other National Security and Public Safety Threats.” Here's what experts think.
