Although I know that people like Jason Stanley and Timothy Snyder cover the definition of fascism more thoroughly, I think it's important to state it succinctly. Robert Reich does that pretty well. Let's adopt Reich's definition.

"What makes a fascist?

-Rejecting democracy for a strongman
-Stoking rage against cultural elites
-Nationalism based on “superior” race
-Glorifying strength and warriors
-Disdain of women and LGBTQ+ people"
