I reported to your support email that I can't connect with either my Mastodon account or my GoToSocial account (which isn't in the dropdown).
I got a reply that Surf doesn't support either GoToSocial or Pixelfed and when I then went back to the app to check if I could now log into my Mastodon instance, my Mastodon instance was gone from the instance dropdown.
Did you think my Mastodon instance was a Pixelfed instance?
Anyway, I'd like to use your app but you apparently don't support all Mastodon instances.
And my support email didn't even say the word "Pixelfed" so I have no idea why support assumed that.
So anyway, first onboarding and customer support assessment: Could be a lot better.

Your message helped bring it to our attention, so we really appreciate the feedback! Also, I realize my mention of Pixelfed may have caused some confusion—sorry about that. Let us know if we can assist with onboarding a supported account.
@FlipboardCS It was my mistake submitting two issues as part of one ticket.
But the issue is simple enough: oliphant.social is a Mastodon instance. It used to be in the dropdown of available instances, but whenever I'd try to log in it would say "Ooops, did you spell this correctly?"
After I reported an issue logging in, oliphant.social dropped off the list altogether. I was never given an explanation as to why the Mastodon instance wasn't working, it just got removed entirely and then I got the message about GTS/Pixelfed.
@oli It's my bad for being confused on the ticket. Glad we connected again. I wrote back on the support ticket, mind if we continue there?
