So vernacular organizing has been stuck in my head since @kissane.bsky.social coined it for her #ATmosphereConf talk. We are absolutely going to need to consider what community organizing, popular organizing and NGOs are for as we crash through governmental institutional failure.

ATmosphereConf Follow Up: Feed...
We couldn't have pulled this off without our sponsors, but as we said at the closing, the single largest financial supporter was all of you that paid for in person and livestream tickets! #ATmosphereConf
Feedback wanted! Here's an initial follow up from #ATmosphereConf
We had 179 people registered for in-person tickets, and 186 people registered for the livestream.
A week before the conference, we had ~120 people registered, so excitement and FOMO definitely kicked in right at the end.
