“Chuck Schumer must be removed as the Leader of the Senate Democrats. His indefensible stance on the recent budget vote, as well as statements since then, shows that he lacks the strength and courage that we need stand-up and defeat the Trump/MAGA travesty. As a very concerned California Democrat we need you to step forward and publicly state that it’s time for Schumer to step aside, and to fill a role similar to that of Nancy Pelosi in the House.
It doesn’t matter that there may be no obvious candidate to fill the Leadership role. There are a number of excellent Senators that can do that. However, that person must be a fighter, know that times are different now, and must realize that we are at war with the Trump/MAGA/Musk assault on our democracy."

For what it's worth I’ve contacted both CA Senators (Schiff and Padilla) and my House Representative (Panetta) and suggested that they get off their butts and stand up, start fighting, and do something now to stop Trump and his illegal actions and the criminal actions of those like Musk.
I haven’t heard a peep out of these people and it’s beyond time for us to start putting significant pressure on our elected officials.
