Okay, so. I handprinted an old negative in the communal darkroom, and then handtinted it at home with tea (a rooibos).

I really like how this turned out. I think the tea elevated the print, which was a bit bland before. Now it's got a cute vintage feel — with zero Photoshop/photo app interference.

The picture shows a black and white darkroom print of an analog photo. This gives the image a vintage look.

I'm finding that a lot of colour and details are lost when I upload pictures. Anyone having the same issue? I'm saving them with standard web HD resolution. They look fine on my computer but loose quite a bit after upload. I've tried with both JPG and PNG. Any suggestions for #pixelfed uploads? Meta has their own image processing magic that really helps.
