Recently, I read an opinion piece stating that Trudeau has completely or partially delivered on 90% of his 2021 election promises. But the one that could impact Canada the most was the broken promise of election reform. First Past the Post could easily give us a Conservative government, while Proportional Representation very lively delivers a minority government. It's too late to count on that saving us.
Imagine arguing that political parties losing the power to dictate candidates is a bad thing, and then following that up by calling the voters too stupid to create a numbered list.

@jfmezei It is not limited, they are doing this over and over again. While I share the frustration about lack of proportional representation, this flooding the ballot is bad. It turns people off from voting and makes the election a joke. Also, it hurts the movement for #ElectionReform.
America needs MASSIVE election reform.
The influence of money—money as free speech, votes, even "corporations as people"—is offensive & wasteful.
It's far past time to end this. Fix It!

So much of my FB timeline, SMS messages, email, phone calls, etc. are poltical ads asking for money. How much time do our elected representatives spend on fundraising instead of representing?

The quickest/easiest way to "get the money out of politics" is to simply adopt #IRV #InstantRunoffVoting for ALL elections.
This would totally eliminate the most costly part of running for office: "#Primaries" (followed by Runoffs.) No primaries also greatly shortens the time spent running for office, and the time spent by candidates fundraising.
