my friend Colin says this is more interesting than blithering on about word games, so here goes:

I like black cameras. quite a few of the #Canon #CanonFD film cameras came only in black: as those imaged. Black except for the battery compartment covers, that is. Today I made the single, silver cover on the #CanonF1 into a black version. Tomorrow the two on the #CanonEF - it makes me happy. And keeps me out of trouble. #Photography #FilmIsNotDead (but is expensive)

two 1970's Canon film SLR cameras. they came only in black. i always wanted but couldn't afford these. itch now being scratched. I suspect that I may not keep them.
the base of the same two cameras. all black except for two coin-sized battery compartment covers which are silver. this anomaly irks me. on the left, the F1 with silver thing now sprayed black. it doesn't look particularly black in this image. trick of the light and the wrong sort of black
another look at the now-black, was silver battery compartment cover on the base of the Canon F1. now looking more black but still not the right black. it will have to do, I fear.
