This week's #MusicWomenWednesday is NOT going to be for everyone. If you're looking for something VERY different, this is a fairly odd one.

Sometimes I run across something and I'm not even sure what it is. But I've listened to this a couple times now. Kate Dallat is from Antwerp, Belgium, and this has a bunch of wild stuff with 'ritualistic voice of the Greek Codeina' mixed with drums, bass, synth and Italian poetry. Kinda Coil-esque sometimes?

Wondering if @DanielTuttle @DomSathanas or @REEL would be into this. It's pretty fuckin rad, man, I dig it. Again, this is SUPER weird and wild.

This week for #MusicWomenWednesday, I want to focus on a woman who unfortunately wasn't with us very long. She earned a reputation in the DC area as a masterful interpreter of songs. She died of cancer before she saw any fame, though.

One disc jockey in the UK championed her music and the anthology 'Songbird' was released posthumously, selling millions of copies. This is Eva Cassidy and this is her cover of 'Fields of Gold'
