The smell was so foul that people immediately thought it was the volcano. However, the scientists traced that strange odor to a certain Max Wells. He apparently let out a fart so stinky that it was smelled for miles. Janice Wells, his wife, tears running down her cheeks from the smell, told reporters, "He had a black bean burrito just before he farted."
