While I personally stopped tweeting in May, it was clear that now was the time for Flipboard to stop tweeting as well.
This is a sad outcome given that Twitter was the platform we got started on in 2010 and I was a board member there with Jack, Ev and Dick. But that Twitter is gone now. And the future is the open social web.
@mike this is such an inspiring story. Would you like to share how much of an impact this will have on the overall traffic/engagement-rates this will have on your business... like in about a year from now?
Twitter used to be my most important platform... Well, that's what I thought at least. Since I left it my business actually thrived in a way I didn't expect.
@pallenberg I expect we will see something similar to what you've seen, Sascha. When we post we see 10-100X the engagement here compared to Twitter. The relationships are far more genuine and impactful.
