@hynek seeing your name, recalled about fun #Beryl experience recently. We were on a cruise ship and Wi-Fi costs and arm and a leg, and they seem to use MAC allow-lists. The problem is that you cannot allow-list another device (unless by cloning its MAC on a phone/laptop, logging in, and then re-connecting with the device). And that would fall off every now and then so would need to re-login every other day or so. (1/5)
