I was interested to see this article showing how k-pop is becoming incorporated into the culture of the UK.

For those unfamiliar with "Go Hard", the Twice song mentioned in the article, I'm appending a stage as a reply to this post.

My 5 things are ...
Favorite Kpop #dance Choreographys of 2023

Honorable Mention
I really enjoyed this choreography of #Yoasobi 's IDOL because I was a big fan of the anime Oshi No Ko.

This pair of guys made some shorts where they dance to an edit of the titles, and it became a viral hit. This was the longer version where they added more to the dance, so it's a bit slower.

Not in the top 5 because it is #Jpop not #Kpop.

Theme this week for #KpopMonday is #TooManyMembers (all your favorite songs by groups with more than 7 members in the video) and of course I have to start with SuJu.

Super Junior have trimmed down their members (to 9 for this video) from when they started, but "Burn the Floor" is an artistic masterpiece.

#Kpop #choreography has had so many innovations in dance style. It's a hothouse for new trends and movement.

Today's topic is #gesture
#kpopdancing can be distinguished from western pop dance by the importance of gestures (especially hand gestures) in the dance. It isn't quite to the level of Indian, Thai, or Hawaiian dance, but the ability to use clear hand signals is an important part of effective #kpopdance .
