Gibraltar & Affenfelsen

In dem britischen Stadtstadt Gibraltar verbringen wir einen schönen Tag.

Erst geht es mit der Seilbahn (für Heike, die Höhenangst hat, eine kleine Herausforderung 😅) auf den berühmten Felsen. Dort besichtigen wir den Naturpark mit hautnaher Affenbegegnung, steigen in die wunderschöne St. Michaels Cave und klettern zu der ehemaligen militärischen Anlage.

Eigentlich wollten wir in einem Restaurant auf dem Felsen etwas essen, leider hatten sie keine Fish & Chips, die wir in der britischen Stadt unbedingt probieren wollten.

Also wieder runter in die charmante Altstadt, die so anders als die spanischen Orte ist.

Wir lassen uns ein wenig durch die Stadt treiben, bekommen in einem Café an einen schönen Platz unsere Fish & Chips, bewundern die typisch britischen Dinge wie rote Telefonzellen, englische Schilder und sehen sogar einen Monty-Python-Aufkleber.

Später gehen wir über die Flugzeug-Landebahn über die Grenze wieder zurück nach Spanien.

Ein wunderschöner Tag, an den wir noch lange zurückdenken werden! ✨
