In the lyrics there are a lot of hystorical reference, but the real focus of the song were the things happened in the decade when was written. It is a mix between a denunciation song and a praise to Italians that reacted and faced to the events. The 12 december was the day of the political terroristic attack of Piazza Fontana (in Milan) in 1969. It was considerated the begin of "Anni di Piombo", a very bad page of italian history, full of political terroristic attacks made by many organization divisible in two groups: the Red and the Black. The first one faction was composed by comunist extremist groups (most famous BR: Brigate Rosse), the second one was composed by fascist and nationalist extremist groups (most famous Ordine Nuovo and Ordine Nero). In the song we can find also a reference to the moon landing.
