Remember how we used to talk about how bad the Commie countries were because their citizens couldn't go anywhere even inside those countries without having papers? Welp the SAVE act would do the same thing to any U.S. married woman who moves. Call your senators!

Fair Elections CenterSAVE Act (2025)Fair Elections Center opposes the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require every American to provide documentary proof of citizenship to register or re-register to vote. Requiring oftentimes hard-to-get and expensive documents make it harder for citizens to vote, and doesn't solve any problems with our elections. Recent studies show that around ten percent of voting-eligible Americans do not have documents to show their citizenship. Those citizens are more likely to be women, low income people, and from communities of color.

Does anyone know if there is a way for #VLC Media Player to retain #playlist data after closing the program? I had a crash today, and recreating my playlist was hard. I have tried saving to an XSPF playlist file, but these don't update with new entries (they seem to be read-only) If the feature doesn't exist, I am willing to put aside some money to send to VideoLAN to have it as a feature on Linux and other platforms.
