1) toasted home made bread for breakfast
2) slept through the night
3) hawthorn tree has tiny buds (since we get occasional spring storms with heavy snows having a late budding tree is a big plus)

1) Late night celebration desert at #Naya in #HayesValley with spouse and kiddo.
2) Coffee and mochi muffins at #WelcomeHomeCafe this afternoon with spouse & kiddo.
3) Morning visit from SIL.
So many treats!
I was absolutely exhausted yesterday so here's a morning #3GoodThings!
1. Had a decent night's sleep.
2. Added reading a few pages of non fiction to my morning routine, just a couple of days so far but a nice addition!
3. I spotted my obsessive, intrusive thoughts BEFORE I started to act on them, huge win even if it still sucks to think these things.
Today’s 3 good things:
- watching Seinfeld reruns with my partner
- self defense class
- my seedlings seemed to have survived my attempt at transplanting them
(Bonus: Diamond is currently laying on a pillow on my lap, playfully pawing at my phone and purring like there’s no tomorrow)
Three good things for today: 4/12/2025
1. Bacon and eggs
for brunch.
2. Stop procrastinating and did some necessary adulting (bills, banking, property taxes).
3. Cloud storage stuff:
Finished migrating from Dropbox to iCloud.
Now using Cryptomator for 3rd party encryption.
Deleted Dropbox.
1 AAUP
2 the traffic islands protecting the bike lane on Comm Ave at BU - they have lots of daffodils and tulips and they keep cars out of the bike lane much better than flex posts
3 My dog, currently snoozing in her armchair while I stretch out my back on the floor
Three good things on a Saturday:
1) Rain, lots of rain, which we've badly needed. All our barrels runneth over;
2) Things are blooming ahead of schedule. We've had a busy time covering and uncovering trying to keep everything protected from sudden freezes but so far so good;
3) Last fall we planted a handful of chestnuts left from some we bought at our local farmer's market. At least four have germinated in a pot in our tiny greenhouse. Now to decide where to put them in the wild.
Saturday's tiny delights:
1. seeing a sleepy owl on a branch by the path on my walk this morning (i only had my camera, so the photo is not great, but the owl was beautiful)
2. excellent conversation about polytheist practice on line.
3. happy, excited, muddy dogs running around with their humans
- today everything went differently than planned - if you don't fight it, but simply go along with it, it's actually quite entertaining.
- jumped over my shadow
- satisfying productivity
1. Rode back home after dark last night by the sea & then on an empty forest cycle path, my bike light worked 10/10 and I was singing "Moonlight Drive" by The Doors to myself, this is reason 243534 why I #cycling
2. First ice-cream of the year
3. Long cat is long #Caturday

Today:
- I walked to the farm up the hill and got fresh eggs
- I took a shortcut through the school and admired the flourishing veg garden there, I love that children are learning about this
- Mum came for dinner and we watched Bake Off. We’ve got behind with it so still have 2 episodes to enjoy!

1)While procrastinating & avoiding a work task, on spouse’s advice, took an ADHD self-reporting survey that looked legit. Hit most of the symptoms! Want to go next to get a professional check. Why is this “good?” It would explain so much! And it got me reevaluating a lot of my life.
2) Pizza night!
3) Cuddles with the big boy cat.
Three good things for today: 4/11/2025
1. Was able to get in and get my haircut before the Friday rush.
2. Got out and exercised (walked).
3. Chilling on the patio after my walk.
Today's exercise: A 2.57 mile walk in 46 minutes.
1. Completed many chores this evening, which makes me feel good---mowing, grooming the cat (nail trim, brush, and bath), also laundered her blankets, and did a water change on the fish tank.
2. My new "high" weight this week was my new "low" weight of last week.
3. My husband has had some energy this week. It's been a really great change.
I need to focus on #ThreeGoodThings:
1) emerging from the Caldecott Tunnel on Westbound 24 this morning -- Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" was on the radio and the Bay looked gorgeous.
2) I took my daughter out for a yummy breakfast at Paradise Park Cafe in Oakland.
3) after a pretty good doctor's appointment, I treated myself to an iced matcha latte and mochi donut from Third Culture.

Discovered a delicious new treat (cinnamon bread) from the Mennonite bakery in our town. It is my new favourite sweet from that bakery!
It is Friday. Early night of PJs and bed!
1. really enjoying animal crossing on mobile, its so cute and not stressful at all
2. appreciate the care and camaraderie at chronosphere, esp after re-reading this section in Stop Blaming that I marked up
3. brought fancy friday back and its put a pep in my step all day
