While I don’t use most of the “automatic curation” present in photos apps, it does occasionally remind me that it is an anniversary of something. This week is the 20 year anniversary of my most dearly missed Archimedes’ adoption. Badger made some last-minute requests for me to stay home today.

Instead, we settled on some extra cuddles and "Shoulder Time" - a trick I am convinced he learnt from Rīx.

I love you, my boy, and I am trying to do everything I can to keep us together.

His coat, a blend of black and white, reflects his adventures in the Abandoned Lands. His warm amber eyes reveal the Wild Magic of his lineage. Each whisker senses things unseen by humans. His proud stance displays a mix of independence and a longing for connection. Rising, the Knight-Commander approaches his leader, placing his white-tipped paws on his sovereign's leg armour. Badger seeks a touch and the cherished ritual of' Shoulder Time,' learned from his foster brother, Sir Rīx of the Shadow Mantle. This bond highlights Badger's deep relationships.
